Executive chef Jeff Poliseno brings his gourmet mac & cheese to Boston and the South Shore, serving up small-batch comfort food at local farmers markets, retailers, and online catering orders. Find Jeff and his wife Jill at the SOWA Open Market Sundays beginning May 3rd and at Hingham Farmers Market Saturdays beginning May 9th. Pickup is also available Fridays at Foundation Kitchen, Charlestown from 6 - 8PM.

Delivery now now available for catering orders. We have a minimum requirement for delivery - contact us for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.

Gentle Reminder: All of our Farmers market food production takes place on Friday evenings, so weekend farmers market pre-orders and catering have to be submitted by Wednesday evenings to allow time for Saturday/Sunday pick up!

  • Jeff Polisino

    Meet the Chef & Owner 

    A Culinary Institute of America graduate with over 30 years as an executive chef, Jeff runs the show at JJ Nugs Mac & Cheese bringing serious kitchen expertise and a whole lot of heart to every batch! His career has taken him through kitchens across Boston, Nantucket, and New Orleans, where he developed a deep appreciation for bold flavors, comforting classics, and food that brings people together. 

    Jeff grew up in Easton, MA. He is currently the Executive Chef of Milk Street Café in Boston When he’s not perfecting the ultimate mac & cheese, you can find him cheering on Arsenal or playing soccer with his local team in Canton, MA

    Meet the Operations and Creative Director 

    Southie native Jill Poliseno is the passenger princess of JJ Nugs Mac & Cheese! Jill puts her blend of business expertise and love of arts and crafts to good use overseeing finance, marketing and sales, as well as working alongside Jeff with kitchen production and farmers market operations.  

    During the week Jill trades the apron and the tent for a suit and an office as the Director of Human Resources for Linedata Services in Boston. Jill’s favorite place to be is at home in Weymouth hanging out with Jeff and their 3 dogs Potato, Waffles and Fudge.
